In 2018, we received an inquiry from the United States, hoping to select a limit switch for their automatic parking project. According to past experience, the TZ-8108 limit switch is small in size and has an adjustable operating mechanism. It is the most suitable choice as a limit switch for the automatic parking project.
However, after receiving the sample for testing, the customer expressed dissatisfaction. It turned out that the customer's parking equipment was located in a semi-open-air venue, and had higher requirements for the protection of the travel switch. They hoped to choose a limit switch with a protection higher than IP65.
In response to this situation, we recommended the IP67 TZ-3108 switch, which has an adjustable back strip and a sealant at the bottom, and has better waterproof performance.
After analyzing the specific dimensions and product costs on site, we finally chose the TZ-3169 product as the limit switch for semi-outdoor environments. Please see the customer's final installation picture:
