Power Push Button Switch
The pushbutton switch is an electrical control switch. Different from the limit switch, the pushbutton switch realizes the opening and closing of the circuit by manually pressing the switch.
TMAZTZ Pushbutton switch includes two categories: exposed type and embedded type. The materials are metal shell and plastic shell to choose from.
In the industrial field, Pushbutton switch is used for direct starting and stopping of motors, and is also used for frequent starting and disconnection of load current.
Depending on the use environment, you can choose 10A, 15A and 30A current. Before use, you should pay attention to whether the operating voltage, current and other parameters of the electrical equipment match the rated parameters of the switch to avoid problems such as damage to the electrical equipment or overload burning of the switch.
Types of Pushbutton Switches
Pushbutton switches (Power Push Button Switch) can be classified as either Normally Open (NO) or Normally Closed (NC).
A Normally Open (“OFF” position) switch completes a circuit when activated.
A Normally Closed (“ON” position) switch breaks a circuit when activated.
Within this classification, the function of a pushbutton switch can be further defined based on the switching circuit it is used in. Common types are single-pole single throw (SPST), single-pole double throw (SPDT), double-pole single throw (DPST), or double-pole double throw (DPDT).
The SPST has only two terminals, so it can only open and close a single circuit. For example, it can be used to turn a motor on and off.
The SPDT has three terminals, so it can control two different circuits. Therefore, it can be used to switch the power supply to two separate LEDs, or to switch a device from sleep mode to active state.
The DPST and DPDT switch configurations can control two isolated circuits at the same time. For example, one circuit is high voltage and the other circuit is low voltage.
